Introduction
What is it, if we’re calling it NOT •A • TATTOO • STUDIO?
You can always say NOT just A TATTOO STUDIO, or even NOT your usual TATTOO STUDIO.
Words like contemporary, modern, conceptual all apply – but aren’t we all tired of them? And don’t they all feel like they’re starting to lose their meaning? Or maybe it’s just us.
We prioritize the artistic side of this simultaneously spiritual and intimate craft – honoring presence over performance, depth over demand. Through the noise of an overcrowded industry and social media, each artist who steps into our walls brings more than ink – they bring thei unique style, their own message, vision, and dialogue with your skin.

Yanina Viland
ABOUT:
Getting a tattoo is, for Yanina Viland, a deeply personal act that deserves to be treated with respect and care. She takes on the role of guiding people through this journey when they choose her art to become part of their skin for the rest of their lives.
Yanina specialises in large-scale freehand tattooing, where she creates the entire design directly on the skin during the first session. Her style is constantly evolving, with older and newer projects showing both different approaches and at the same time recognisable signature elements. This evolution often comes from the ideas her clients bring into the design process, inspiring unexpected combinations and new interpretations of familiar motifs. This way, each tattoo becomes a one-of-a-kind creation—even when part of one of her series—tailored not only to the body but also to the personal vision of the client.
For Yanina, tattooing is about more than ink—it’s about trust. She works with clients of all skin tones, body types, and with various skin conditions, believing that everyone deserves a tattoo that feels like it was made for them. Her process begins with listening and ends with a piece that resonates deeply with the person who wears it.
